Kevlar is characterized by resistance to high temperatures, and its unique structure of numerous inter-chain bonds ensures extraordinary durability. KEVLAR fibers are so tightly woven that separating them is almost impossible. That's why KEVLAR is used to produce bulletproof vests. When a bullet or other high-velocity projectile hits the surface of a material, its fibers stop it, absorbing and dissipating the force of the impact.
