What is the MagSafe charger all about?

Do MagSafe chargers work through a regular case?

Undeniably, iPhone smartphones work best with MagSafe accessories. Therefore, before buying a case, make sure that the case will not block magnetic charging.

To start charging your phone with the MagSafe charger, there are just two steps. First, connect the MagSafe charger to a Lightning cable on one side and an AC adapter on the other. Apple recommends that you choose a power adapter with at least 20 watts of power. Second, place your phone on the charging plate. Done!
